Sci Fi/Fantasy TV Shows Premiering This Week
Resident Alien (Season 2 Part 2 Premieres August 10th on Syfy): Humanity is in danger from an alien race, which is definitely no bueno. Harry might have come to Earth to kill all humans, but now he might be our only hope of survival. Talk about a switcheroo, amirite? Airs Wednesday at 10 PM EST.
Tales of the Walking Dead (Premieres August 14th on AMC): This anthology series takes place in The Walking Dead Universe and will include standalone stories from the zombie-pocalypse featuring new and existing characters. Airs Sunday at 9 PM EST.
Locke & Key (Season 3 Premieres August 10th on AMC): In the thrilling final chapter of the series, the Locke family uncovers more magic as they face a demonic new foe who’s dead-set on possessing the keys. All episodes will be available for streaming on Wednesday.
Schedule Notes
Three shows will be wrapping up this week starting with Apple TV+’s For All Mankind which will have its Season 3 finale on Friday. That show has been renewed for a fourth season. On Sunday, the final third season episode of Evil will be available for streaming on Paramount+, and that one has also been renewed for a fourth season. Also on Sunday, HBO’s Westworld will wrap up its fourth season. There has been no word on a fifth year of that one yet. There are still more sci fi and fantasy shows on the way this Summer and you can see the premieres for August and beyond at this link.
