Sci Fi/Fantasy TV Shows Premiering This Week
The Imperfects (Premieres September 8th on Netflix): After undergoing an experiment that gives them monstrous side effects, Abbi, Tilda and Juan join forces to find the scientist responsible – and a cure. For fans of quirky super squads ready to take on the world, think The Umbrella Academy meets The Boys. All episodes will be available for streaming on Thursday.
Schedule Notes
Three shows will be wrapping up this week. On Monday, Roswell New Mexico–which was one of several cancellations in the lead-up to new ownership taking over at The CW–airs its series finale. On Tuesday, What We Do in the Shadows will air its fourth season finale, and it will be returning next year for its fifth season. And on Thursday, Primal wraps up its second season on Adult Swim and we are still waiting for word on whether it will return for a third year.
