Sci Fi/Fantasy TV Shows Premiering This Week

Space Force (Season 2 Premieres on Netflix February 18th): Under a new administration, General Naird and his dysfunctional but endearing crew have four months to prove that Space Force is worth keeping around. All episodes will be available for streaming on Friday.

Severance (Premieres on Apple TV+ February 18th): Severance centers around Mark Scout (Adam Scott), a leader of a team of office workers whose memories have been surgically divided between their work and personal lives. This experiment in ‘work-life balance’ is called into question as Mark finds himself at the center of an unraveling mystery that will force him to confront the true nature of his work… and of himself. The first two episodes will be available on Friday and the show will release one ep per week after that.

From (Premieres on EPIX February 20th): From unravels the mystery of a nightmarish town in middle America that traps all those who enter. As the unwilling residents fight to keep a sense of normalcy and search for a way out, they must also survive the threats of the surrounding forest – including the terrifying creatures that come out when the sun goes down. Airs Sundays at 8 PM EST.

The Walking Dead (Season 11B Premieres on AMC February 20th): Hellfire rains down on those at Meridian as every fight with the Reapers proves to be a brutal battle. At home in Alexandria, the violent rainstorm rages on as walkers continue to pour in, threatening everyone’s safety. Airs Sundays at 9 PM EST.

Schedule Notes:

Wrapping up this week, The CW’s 4400 has its season finale on Monday and Two Sentence Horror Stories drops its final Season 3 episodes on Sunday.  Both shows are currently On the Bubble.  On Thursday, Peacemaker releases its season finale on HBO Max and looks to be on track to continue into a second year.  Then on Friday, A Discovery of Witches wraps up its three-year run.
