Sci Fi/Fantasy TV Shows Premiering This Week
Star Trek: Picard (Season 2 Premieres March 3rd on Paramount+): The second season of Star Trek: Picard features the character Jean-Luc Picard as he and his companions are trapped in the 21st century when reality is broken by Q as part of the ultimate trial for Picard. They must race against time to save the future of the galaxy. The season premiere will be available on Thursday and the show will release one ep per month after that.
The Boys Presents: Diabolical (Premieres March 4th on Prime Video): From some of the most unhinged and maniacal minds in Hollywood today comes Diabolical, a collection of eight irreverent and emotionally shocking animated short films.
Shining Vale (Premieres March 6th on Starz): Shining Vale is a horror comedy about a dysfunctional family that moves from the city to a small town into a house in which terrible atrocities have taken place. But no one seems to notice except for Pat (Courteney Cox), who’s convinced she’s either depressed or possessed – turns out, the symptoms are exactly the same. Premieres Sunday at 9 PM EST.

Also premiering this week is Outlander which returns for its sixth season on Starz (and it has already been renewed for a seventh year). Most of the The CW’s shows are capping out at thirteen episodes this season due to all the production delays, so the season finales for both Legends of Tomorrow and Batwoman will arrive on Wednesday (still waiting to hear renewal announcements on those and you can read more about that at this link). Also wrapping up this week is Britannia which has its third season finale on EPIX on Sunday (no word yet on a fourth year for that show).
