Sci Fi/Fantasy TV Shows Premiering This Week
Star Wars: The Bad Batch (Disney+): When the new season opens, months have passed since the events on Kamino, and the Bad Batch continue their journey navigating the Empire after the fall of the Republic. They will cross paths with friends and foes, both new and familiar, as they take on a variety of thrilling mercenary missions that will take them to unexpected and dangerous new places. Season 2 premieres January 4th.
Mayfair Witches (AMC/AMC+): This series focuses on an intuitive young neurosurgeon (Alexandra Daddario) who discovers that she is the unlikely heir to a family of witches. As she grapples with her newfound powers, she must contend with a sinister presence that has haunted her family for generations. Premieres January 9th.
Fantasy Island (FOX): The fantasy continues in this show’s second season. Premieres January 2nd.
Schedule Notes
Quantum Leap returns with new episodes on NBC on Monday. Ghosts resumes its second season on CBS on Thursday. And on that same day, Doom Patrol wraps up the first part of its fourth season.
