Sci Fi/Fantasy TV Shows Premiering This Week
The Flash (Season 8 Returns from Hiatus March 9th on The CW): After returning home from a visit for their parents’ vow renewal, Bart and Nora realize that things are not exactly as they left them; the duo race to repair any fissures in the timeline and restore everything back to the way it is supposed to be. This show returns with new episodes and switches to Wednesdays at 8 PM EST.
Upload (Season 2 Premieres March 11th on Prime Video): Nathan is at a crossroads in his (after) life… his ex-girlfriend Ingrid has unexpectedly arrived to Lakeview hoping to strengthen their relationship, but his heart still secretly yearns for his customer service angel, Nora. All episodes will be available for streaming Friday.
Kung Fu (Season 2 Premieres March 9th on The CW): With the Lunar New Year around the corner, a more confident and grounded Nicky finds herself in a great place in her relationship with Henry and with her family. However, when a break-in at the Shen residence leaves her shaken, Nicky, with the help of Evan, begins to suspect that Russell Tan may be involved. The season premiere airs at 9 PM EST on Wednesday.
Charmed (Season 4 Premieres March 11th on The CW): Leo was able to save Piper, but was unable to heal Prue. Piper and Phoebe must now deal with the loss of their elder sister and the loss of the Power of Three. However, The Source discovers an unknown half-sister named Paige Matthews, the daughter of Patty and her Whitelighter, Sam, who had been kept hidden. Paige, the now-youngest Halliwell can restore the Power of Three and reunite the sisters’ strength as witches. The season premiere airs at 8 PM EST on Friday.
