Sci Fi TV Trailers: A rundown of the teasers, trailers, featurettes, and the occasional retro-trailer related to sci fi and fantasy television released over the past week.


Cabinet of Curiosities (Netflix): Guillermo Del Toro – The master of horror – gives a First Look at some of the twisted nightmares and violent delights from his new anthology series. Cabinet of Curiosities is a collection of sinister stories, told by some of today’s most revered horror creators – including the directors of The Babadook, Splice, Mandy, and many more. Premieres October 25th.



Wednesday (Netflix): WEDNESDAY — starring Jenna Ortega in the title role, alongside Catherine Zeta-Jones, Luis Guzman, Gwendoline Christie, Christina Ricci and more — is a sleuthing, supernaturally infused mystery charting Wednesday Addams’ years as a student at Nevermore Academy. Snap snap. Coming soon to Netflix.



Rick & Morty (Adult Swim): This one is for the Die Hards. Season 6 premieres September 4th.



The Sandman (Netflix): From the mind of Neil Gaiman, a two-part bonus episode of THE SANDMAN, featuring the stories “A Dream of a Thousand Cats” and “Calliope,” In this two-part story collection, a Siamese cat dreaming of a new world and a writer in desperate need of inspiration cross paths with Morpheus. Now streaming.



House of the Dragon (HBO): Based on George R.R. Martin’s “Fire & Blood,” the series, which is set 200 years before the events of Game of Thrones, tells the story of House Targaryen. Premieres August 21st.
