Sci Fi TV Trailers This Week: American Horror Stories Season 2, See Season 3, La Brea Season 2, and More

Sci Fi TV Trailers: A rundown of the teasers, trailers, featurettes, and the occasional retro-trailer related to sci fi and fantasy television released over the past week.


American Horror Stories (FX on Hulu): This is a companion series to FX’s American Horror Story with individual episodes that further explore the AHS universe and that include actors and storylines from the original series. Season 2 premieres July 21st.



See (Apple TV+): After Baba Voss (Jason Momoa) defeated his nemesis brother Edo and retreated into the forest, an explosive new threat emerges that no one is safe from. Will the greatest warrior of his time have what it takes to protect those that mean the most to him? Season 3 premieres August 26th.



La Brea (NBC): La Brea follows an epic family adventure after a massive sinkhole opens in Los Angeles pulling people and buildings into a mysterious and dangerous primeval land where they have no choice but to band together to survive. In season two, the Harris family remains separated as Eve is reeling from her son, Josh, having mistakenly gone through a portal to 1988. What she doesn’t know yet is that her ex-husband, Gavin, and their daughter, Izzy, have landed in prehistoric Seattle and now must brave the elements and animals to make their way to L.A. Season 2 Premieres September 27th.



Harley Quinn (HBO Max): The mayhem and madness continue in season three of this biting and uproarious adult animated comedy series. Wrapping up their “Eat. Bang! Kill. Tour,” Harley Quinn (Kaley Cuoco) and Poison Ivy (Lake Bell) return to Gotham as the new power couple of DC villainy. Along with their ragtag crew – King Shark (Ron Funches), Clayface (Alan Tudyk), Frank the Plant (JB Smoove) – “Harlivy” strives to become the best version of themselves while also working towards Ivy’s long desired plan of transforming Gotham into an Eden paradise. Season 3 Premieres July 28th.



Stargirl (CW): DC’s Stargirl follows high school sophomore Courtney Whitmore as she inspires an unlikely group of young heroes to stop the villains of the past. This new drama reimagines DC’s Stargirl and the very first superhero team, the Justice Society of America, in an unpredictable series. Season 3 premieres Fall 2022
